Description of Work

Install a fiber optic extension for service provider.

Our Scope of Work included:

1. Fiber Optic Cabling
   • Install one (1) – 12 strand single mode fiber optic cable from the mezzanine cross connect room to the customer’s Telecom room to extend LEC services.
   • Provide and install 1 – wall mounted Fiber Optic Housing Unit with 12 strand LC adapter panel, in the Mezzanine cross-connect room.
   • Provide 1 – rack mounted Fiber Optic Housing Unit with 12 strand LC adapter panel at customer Telecom Room.
   • Terminate 12 Fiber Optic Strands to fusion spliced single mode LC connectors on each end (24 connectors).
   • Test and certify fiber optic cable and connectors.
   • Patch into LEC circuit at Mezzanine.
   • Customer to patch in Network Equipment in Telecom Room.
2. Run cross connects in mezzanine room to extend copper services to the 37^th floor riser closet
   • Run Copper cabling from the 37^th floor Riser to the Customer’s Telecom Room
   • Terminate to patch panel in customers Telecom Room.
   • Cross connect to LEC services at Mezzanine.
   • Customer to patch into Network Equipment in Telecom Room.
3. Conduit pathway
   • Furnish and Install (1) 50′ Run Of 2” Conduit.
   • Locate and Identify Twist Lock Circuit, Label and Verify.
   • Furnish and Install (1) 100′ Run Of 1” Conduit Run for Telecommunications Grounding Chase Nipple.
   • Furnish and Install New Telecommunications Grounding Bus Bar.
   • Furnish and Install (1) 6” Recessed Can in The Drop Ceiling Inside Telecommunications Room.
   • Core Drilling (2) 3” & (2) 1.5” Core Drilled Sleeves.
   • Off Normal and Off Work Hours.
4. Cabinetry work
   • Furnish and Install (1) 50′ Run Of 2” Conduit.
   • Locate and Identify Twist Lock Circuit, Label and Verify.
   • Furnish and Install (1) 100′ Run Of 1” Conduit Run for Telecommunications Grounding Chase Nipple.
   • Furnish and Install New Telecommunications Grounding Bus Bar.
   • Furnish and Install (1) 6” Recessed Can in The Drop Ceiling Inside Telecommunications Room.
   • Core Drilling (2) 3” & (2) 1.5” Core Drilled Sleeves.
   • Off Normal and Off Work Hours.
5. Provide labor To UPS.
